Transition to Online Publication of Legal and Public Notices
Please be advised that, effective March 1, 2026, the official and definitive source for all legal and public notices for the Township of Upper, including the Township Committee, Planning Board, and all other municipal boards and agencies required by law to publish public notices, will be the ‘Legal Notices’ section of the Township’s website, located at https://uppertownship.com/legal-notices/.
All legal and public notices posted online will remain accessible to the public at no charge. The website will also maintain an archive of past notices, as required by law.
This change is being made in compliance with New Jersey P.L. 2025, c. 72, which recognizes that online publication provides more accessible and cost-effective access to public information for a greater number of New Jersey residents.

An Ordinance amending Chapter 20, Zoning, of the Code of Upper Township to create a Cannabis Overlay Zone within the CM-2 Zoning District and to allow Class 5 Cannabis Retail Sales within the Cannabis Overlay District.
