Mascots

Mascots should begin on Friday July 10th, 2026

Our program is full for 2026!

Registration will go live before Noon on April 1st. If you selected the pay in person option,  we must receive payment by June 17 to secure your place in the program.

The first 60 Mascots will be locked in for 2026, beyond that we will have to place late registration on a wait list. We can place you on a waiting list for 202 in case we have openings.  Email us to get placed on this list. uppertwpbeachpatrol@gmail.com

In order to ensure safety of all participating children and compliance with the state standards:

  • Each Mascot group will be limited to 15 children
  • No child under the age of 5 will be considered for participation
  • Pickup/drop off will be at Williams Rd..  (This may change due to beach conditions!)
  • Parking will always be an issue, so plan on arriving early to escort your mascots to the assigned location of the drop-off tent.
  • The duration of each session will be from 11:30- 1 pm.
  • Dates will be July 10, 17, 24, 31 and August 7 (One make-up day can be scheduled in August and before 8/7 due to weather)

Mascots is a program or young children to learn lifeguarding skills. All mascots must be 5 years old by July 1st.  The program meets every Friday from 11:30-1. To have your child join, it is important to sign up early. Mascots begins on July 8th and lasts every Friday for 5 weeks. The program requires a payment of $60 dollars. You can sign up online, stop by Lifeguard HQ on Williams Rd after June 3rd , or mail your check to the address below. Please make checks out to Upper Twp Lifesavers.  If you do not pay online, we must receive payment by June 17th or your child’s spot will be given to a child on the waitlist.

Our instructors will reach out to those signed up by the 2nd week of June with more details.  This is also when we will deposit checks received.
