2026 Primary Election Information
The 2026 Primary Election will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2026. Polls will be open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. The last day to register to vote in the 2026 Primary Election is May 12, 2026.
Upper Township Polling Places:
- Districts 1, 8 & 12 – Upper Township Community Center – 1790 Route 50, Petersburg
- Districts 2, 6 & 7 – Trinity United Methodist Church Hall – 20 Route 9 North, Marmora
- Districts 3, 4, 13 & 14 – 2nd Cape May Baptist Church Hall – 600 Route 9, Marmora
- Districts 5, 9, 10 & 15 – Seaville Fire Hall – 36 Route 50, Seaville
- District 11 – Rita C. Schiavo Library – 801 S. Commonwealth Avenue, Strathmere
EARLY VOTING
In person early voting is available beginning May 26, 2026 through May 31, 2026 at the following locations:
- Upper Township Library, 2050 Tuckahoe Road (CR 631), Petersburg, NJ 08270
- Middle Township Library, 30 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210
- Lower Township Library, 2600 Bayshore Road, Villas, NJ 08251
Hours for in person early voting are: Monday through Saturday – 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday – 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
VOTE BY MAIL
A voter may apply for a Mail-In Ballot by mail up to 7 days prior to the election. He or she may also apply in person at the Cape May County Clerk’s Office, located at 7 N. Main St., Cape May Court House, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Monday June 1, 2026. Application For Vote By Mail Ballot.
Vote by Mail Ballots can be returned to any drop box location. In Upper Township, a drop box is located at the Upper Township Municipal Building. A list of additional locations can be found here Drop Box Locations.
